“Art has the power to brighten days, evoke smiles, and create a momentary escape into a world of whimsy and delight.”
Angela Marie Franco is a multi-media artist, writer, and creative professional whose career spans more than 45 years in graphic design, copywriting, marketing, corporate communications, and branding. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Angela knew by the age of five that she was destined to become both an artist and a writer.
She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, where she graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Graphic Design and Marketing Communications. Her lifelong passion for visual storytelling continues to shape her distinctive artistic voice today.
Angela’s artwork blends whimsy with mystery, creating imaginative compositions that are both playful and thought-provoking. Her work is inspired by the bold emotion of the 1920s German Expressionists, the intricate imagination of M. C. Escher, the expressive beauty of Vincent van Gogh, and the timeless design influences of Frank Lloyd Wright and Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Beyond her fine art career, Angela is passionate about education and creativity for all ages. After developing a table manners program for children with special needs, she expanded the concept into interactive programs that teach healthy food choices through hands-on food art and etiquette activities. She is also the author of the instructional book The Table Manners Coach, available on Amazon .(insert link)
Ms. Franco is a member of the Hunterdon Watercolor Society, Phillips' Mill Community Association, and New Hope Arts. She is also a regular contributing artist at Shad Fest in Lambertville.
